Reproduction (10)Write one main difference between asexual and sexual mode of reproduction. Which species is likely to have comparatively better chances of survival - the one reproducing asexually or the one reproducing sexually ? Give reason to justify your answer.
Answer
(i) In sexual reproduction two opposite sexes are involved where as in asexual reproduction only one individual is involved.
(ii) In sexual reproduction male and female gamete formation takes place where as in asexual no gamete formation occurs.
